A money line bet is a type of sports bet where you simply pick which team you think will win the game.

The formula for calculating potential winnings on a money line bet is: (Amount Wagered x (Odds/100)) + Amount Wagered. For example, if you bet $100 on a team with -150 odds, the potential winnings would be $166.67.
lets give another example:

The money line bet formula is:

Potential Profit = (Amount Wagered / (Positive Moneyline Odds/100))

Example:

Let’s say you want to place a money line bet on a baseball game with the following odds:

Team A: -150
Team B: +120

If you want to bet $100 on Team A, the potential profit would be calculated as:

Potential Profit = ($100 / (-150/100))
Potential Profit = $100 / -1.5
Potential Profit = $66.67

bet $100 on Team A and they win, you would make a profit of $66.67.
