Splits occur when the difference in ability between two teams is small, allowing you to bet on both handicaps.
For example, Team X’s quote might be (0 & -0.5). If you bet on Team X & they lose, you will lose both bets as they do not cover any handicap.
If the match ends in a tie, half of your Bet on (0) will be refunded, and half of your Bet on (-0.5) will lose. However, if Team X wins, both handicaps will cover, so both bets win.
If you are stuck in the old days of blindly following 3-way fixed odds betting, chances are you won’t get a decent return on your investment, and your betting could benefit from the fresh perspective that soccer handicap betting offers.
