Ben Simmons, a guard-forward for the Brooklyn Nets, won’t play against the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday. Simmons will miss the game for the second week due to left knee discomfort.

Simmons won’t be playing for the Nets, and neither will coach Steve Nash, who was let go by the organization on Tuesday.

Simmons missed Monday’s 116-109 victory over the Pacers by Brooklyn. Brooklyn’s four-game losing streak was snapped with the victory over Indiana. On Saturday against the Pacers, Simmons played 36 minutes and contributed 9 points to the 125-116 loss.

The Brooklyn playmaker underwent surgery to remove a loose body from his left knee in 2020. He has struggled with knee and back problems throughout the years. In six games with Brooklyn this year, he has averaged 6.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 7.3 assists.
