O.G. Anunoby regarded as the NBA’s second most likely trade candidate

February 1, 2023

A potential O.G. Anunoby trade is starting to take shape.

According to oddsmakers and sources, Anunoby, 25, is now the second-most probable player in the NBA to be dealt before the trade deadline next month as a result of all the talk about him and the Toronto Raptors. Anunoby has a chance of being traded at -500, which indicates an 83.3% chance that Toronto will trade its coveted wing defender.

According to the sportsbook, only Phoenix Suns guard Jae Crowder, who has yet to play a game this season because of a holdout, has better odds of getting dealt.

Toronto is anticipated to defer making any choices before the deadline until the conclusion of its West Coast road trip. On Feb. 6, the squad will leave for home, and it is anticipated that they will use the three days leading up to the Feb. 9 deadline to determine their course of action.

The Raptors are apparently receiving calls about Anunoby, who is presently out with a sprained left wrist, per a source.

Both the Suns and the New York Knicks are reportedly interested in signing Anunoby.

At -200, Gary Trent Jr. has a 2/3 chance of being traded before the deadline, making him the second-most probable Raptors player to be shipped. With a reported value of -150, Fred VanVleet has a 60% chance of being dealt.
