For Bayern Munich, Pavard has been a regular right-back since joining Stuttgart in 2019, yet he appears to be displeased at not being able to participate and play in his preferred center-back position.
With his contract scheduled to end in 2024, he may seize the opportunity to move on in quest of a new challenge, and France teammate Olivier Giroud has been seeking to sell the 26-year-old to Serie A winner’s AC Milan.
Pavard told La Gazzetta Dello Sport, “I’ve been playing in Germany for seven years now.” In Stuttgart, I still have many friends. With Bayern Munich, I won everything.
“I play to win and am available to analyze new exciting initiatives, but only as a central defender.” Is Giroud attempting to persuade me to relocate to Milan? Olivier usually says that Italy is a country that lives and breathes football.
“He informed me about the magic of derbies, the huge fan celebration for the Scudetto.” I’d also like to play with him because he’s a fantastic friend. We’ll see what happens.
“Serie A is fascinating not only for a defender like me but also because it is a lot more open,” Giroud, Theo Hernandez, and Rabiot tell me.
“Just consider the ongoing rivalry between Napoli and Milan and Inter, who were not easy to beat in the Champions League.” Juventus is currently undergoing renovations but will soon return to [prior] levels.”
