Donovan Mitchell has some insane leaps, as we all know. In the third quarter of the Cavs’ game against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden, he genuinely put those hops on display.

 

Mitchell erupted for this jam in transition as Cleveland tried to find a flame to get back in the game.

 

Mitchell’s ability to execute this slam is astounding. Mitchell was pretty far into the key when Cedi Osman passed him the ball. That wasn’t a problem at all, though. He immediately exploded in the air after taking off two feet.

 

R.J. was one of the highlights of the whole thing. Barrett’s response. Barrett would have been on the receiving end of a massive poster, so it was good he didn’t jump.

 

Mitchell has been excellent offensively for the Cavaliers, but the fans have only seen a small number of dunks from the shooting guard. He has been heavily concentrating on his outside-the-paint game instead.

 

Like this one, we may witness more dunks from Mitchell as the season progresses.
